What are the placement scenarios in IIT Jammu?

The institute has a dedicated placement cell which is working hard to secure good placements for students. However, as the institute is new, the number of companies visiting the campus for recruitment may be limited. But as the institute gains reputation, more companies will be visiting the campus for recruitment. It's worth noting that many students choose to pursue further studies or research after completing their degree or choose to start their own venture after gaining experience in the industry. It's advisable to check with the institute's placement cell for the most up-to-date information on placement opportunities. The college recorded 83% hiring rate and more than 120 companies visited the campus during placements 2022. Similarly, 155 students registered for placements and over 220 job offers were made during placements 2022
